The Extra Piece
A downloadable game for Windows
The theme of this year's Defold jam is 'One Too Many'. For my entry, I developed a puzzle game where you have to fit familiar-looking pieces together in a specific way, but there's a catch: you are given one EXTRA piece, and no matter how hard you try, you cannot make it fit with the others! (Basically, it's like high school, where that one student tries hard but never seems to fit in. Wait, is this an autobiographical game?!)

Install instructions
I recommend downloading The Extra Piece.zip, as this version is a Windows-based executable. Just unzip the file anywhere on your hard drive and run the EXE file from the folder where all the files were unzipped.
Just for fun (and not for consideration in the game jam ratings), I've updated the game to include harder levels. The first level is the same as the hard level in the previous version, and level two is a much harder one). The game does not register correct solutions, but if you find one, free to let me know and I'll give you props for your puzzle mastery. :-)
EDIT: It seems that there are technically 8 solutions, but in reality there's just one. four solutions are rotated versions of each other and four are achieved by switching grids.
